Nominations for the National Association of Early Childhood Teacher Educators
Dear NAECTE Members,
It is once again time to consider nominations for the National Association of Early Childhood Teacher Educators. Our organization is greatly strengthened through the broad diversity of those who actively participate. We need you, your voice and perspectives! Step up to help us lead at a national level. If you’re interested in taking an active role in NAECTE, we hope you’ll consider self-nominating and placing your name on the ballot to serve on the governing board. Or, if you know a qualified colleague whom you think would be a wonderful addition to the board, ask them and then nominate them. Elections will be held in Spring 2019 and terms will be November, 2019-November, 2021 for the following offices:
• Vice President for Conferences
• NAECTE Regional Representatives 2, 4, 6, 8, 10.

A New Editor Has Been Named!
Karen La Paro has been named the new editor of the Journal of Early Childhood Teacher Education. Karen will take over as editor of the JECTE on January 1, 2016. We had two outstanding candidates for the JECTE editorship and the editorial board worked diligently on the selection process. Our current editor, Patsy Cooper has set the bar high and she will be working with Karen on the transition process over the next few months.
