NAECTE Board Elections – Call for Nominations!
NAECTE is seeking interested members to fill board positions that will be vacated in November 2025. The terms will be November 2025 – November 2027. If you are interested in taking an active role in NAECTE, we hope you will consider placing your name on the ballot to serve on the governing board. Additionally, you may have qualified colleagues that you would like to nominate, and we encourage you to do so. Our organization is greatly strengthened through the broad diversity of those who actively participate.
Elections will be held during the spring of 2025 for the following offices:
*President-Elect – Shall act as an advisor to the President. Consult with the President on agenda items for the Board meetings. In addition to the responsibilities described in the Association’s Bylaws.
*Vice President for Conferences – Shall be responsible for organizing and coordinating the association’s conferences (June virtual and Fall face-to-face), including selecting themes, keynote speakers, and developing programs and logistics of the board meetings. Collaborate with the board in conference planning.
*Treasurer – shall manage all financial transactions, including receiving, depositing, and expending the association’s funds. They are responsible for preparing and presenting the annual budget to the board. Additionally, the Treasurer ensures accurate financial records and compliance with the association’s financial policies.
*Regional Representatives 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 – Shall serve as liaisons between the Board and members and Affiliates in their geographical area and shall work with the Vice-President for Membership to build and support membership.

NAECTE Intentions: 2021 Strategies to Advance Our Organization
This set of intentions was born out of our 2016 Needs Assessment. The NAECTE Board held 2 Global Café and two board meeting events across 2020-2021 to construct our set of intentions. We identified 4 areas of need stemming from our 2016 Needs Assessment: Membership, Communication, Research, and Advocacy. The NAECTE Board and our membership have identified and refined 2-3 major areas of work under each of these identified areas. These are noted in the following pdf: NAECTE Intentions
